I just asked my girlfriend's daughter Pua, "These new boardshorts cool?" I'm holding up a pair.
"When am I getting that OJ I asked for—like an hour ago?"

She's twelve and while she doesn't surf she plays volleyball and basketball and wears boardshorts all the time. That is if she isn't wearing basketball shorts.

"Sorry, I forgot. Coming right up. So, they're cool then, these new girl's boardshorts?"
"Uhuh."
"What do you like about their style?"
"They match other colors I have."
"And...?"
Of course, it's like pulling teeth. All the time. Except when she's insulting me, then the words pour out like the OJ I'm finally pouring her.

"You can wear it anywhere, like to school and stuff."
"So, they're cool street gear too?"
"What did I just say? School and stuff, that includes everything else, dude! Duh!"
"Okay, okay, don't get your boardshorts in a bunch!"

Not even a smile, but then she redeems herself, an hour later, by suddenly saying, "And I like the flower, but you're stupid."

So, you just heard from a small but important segment of our customers: rude girls in sixth grade with a mind about boyfriends boardshorts...

Not that we're guessing with these babies (the boardshorts, not rude girls) because we know we have all the features that appeal to an active woman any age with a mind about quality surfwear at the right price. Any twelve year-old can see that in the blink of an eye.
